Are you feeling inspired to clean and declutter while you’re “stuck at home”. Or are you hoping to find inspiration? I hope this list of 150 things to declutter and clean during quarantine helps you out!
Disclaimer: As always with my decluttering lists, I am not telling you that you need to get rid of these items! My goal is that this list serves as inspiration and helps you to declutter things you hadn’t thought of, should that be your goal!
Also be sure that you are getting rid of things responsibly and environmentally friendly! Items like old batteries, cleaning products and medication shouldn’t be thrown in the garbage. Research proper disposal centres in your city!
While thrift stores or yard sales may not be an option currently, Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji and Craiglist are still popular. Even previous to our current times I would do contact-less porch pickup!
Depending on your space and situation there might be items that you’ll have to hold onto to properly donate them once things reopen. I recommend a large donation box in your garage, or basement (If that’s an option!) and clearly label them “TO DONATE 2020”.
This blog post has two parts, in the first part I list 100 things to declutter during quarantine and in the second part I list 50 things to clean during quarantine!
Let’s start by decluttering! Now that you’re spending more time inside your home you might be more aware of all the extra STUFF that you have sitting around. Even if you take 10 minutes every day to declutter 1-2 of these categories, your home will feel amazing within a few weeks!
