Ikea is my absolute favourite place to purchase storage solutions! Partly because it’s so affordable, but I also love how everything fits together so well. Here’s a collection of my personal favourite Ikea storage items!
IKEA KALLAX
I have to start with my Kallax Shelf because it’s my FAVOURITE. If you live in a small home with limited storage + closets, you need one of these. The amount of things this shelf can hold is astounding. And Ikea sells soooo many different box + basket options that perfectly fit in the cubbies.
This corner is also the most pinned photo I’ve ever posted on Pinterest with more than 1 million views. So it’s safe to say the Kallax is popular!
The Branas baskets are beautiful AND practical. I love that they add a touch of boho + texture to the space. This is one of my favourite Ikea storage items!
The Drona baskets are a more budget friendly option. They come in several different colours (I have white + blue in our house). And they’re a perfect fit in the Kallax unit, or just anywhere you need storage. They’re super solid, but can also fold up when not in use.
These paper boxes are handy for storing items that you want organized in a smaller box. Two of them perfectly stack on top of each other in one cubby. I will say these are much less durable, so I wouldn’t opt for these if you know you’ll need to access the contents every day.
I actually have these cardboard magazine files because I think they were the only option at the time. But I’d much prefer these more durable, metal file holders.
I LOVE the Raskog cart because it has so many practical uses. I’ve seen it used for craft supplies, bathroom storage, baby diapers, office / printer supplies, night tables, etc. I love anything that is versatile and can be used for different purposes in different seasons of life!
The perfect versatile basket for wherever you need extra storage! I love these in the fridge to contain like-items because they can be easily wiped + cleaned.
I’m a big fan of utilizing the space under your bed! I keep a bin of out-of-season clothing under the bed so that they’re out of the way, but still easy to access.
These baskets are a cute option for open shelves + storage. The handle makes it easy to carry around.
I’m such a fan of peg boards! If you have limited surface space (or if you just like to limit surface clutter), this is a great storage option. You can buy all different containers and shelves that click into the pegs to perfectly meet your needs.
Drawer organizers are a MUST for dressers. They help me keep small items nicely organized!
This clear storage set is a great option for a small space. The containers can be easily stacked, while still being able to see what’s inside!
I love the cork lids with these cute glass containers. So practical for storing makeup, bathroom supplies, art supplies, etc.
You can never have too many baskets, right? I love all things wood, and have lots of these throughout my home!
These are technically spice racks, but work so well for small space storage. They’re the perfect solution in our tiny bathroom for every day products. Ikea has recently come out with a larger version of these as well!
