BABY’S FIRST CHRISTMAS GIFTS

I have been busy brainstorming what I’m going to buy my little guy for his first Christmas. Of course he won’t remember or understand this Christmas, but I will!

I always like to be really intentional about gifts and purchase items that will be used for many years. Here are some of the gift ideas I’m considering for baby’s first Christmas!

OPEN-ENDED TOYS

I love toys that have endless purposes and encourage baby’s motor skills and development. I personally want to avoid having a lot of toys that baby will quickly outgrow or toys that do the work for them (think anything with batteries, flashing lights, buttons that make noise, etc)

BATH TOYS

Most conventional squirty bath toys can get mold in them! Instead, I plan on using plastic toys with no holes in them. These are perfect for baby’s first Christmas stocking.

TEETHING + EATING

My baby is only 3 months old this Christmas so we haven’t started teething or eating. Christmas is the perfect opportunity to stock up on items that we’ll want in a few months when we’re at that stage.

INVESTMENT TOYS

I’m always a fan of items that will be used for years to come! These are larger ticket items that grow with baby and can be used during different developmental stages. These are the perfect first Christmas gift ideas from grandparents or parents!

PLAY COUCH

I can’t wait to get one of these! Nugget couches are really popular, or Cushy Couch is a Canadian company!

CLIMBING TRIANGLE

This is another fun toy, especially if your baby is a little bit older this Christmas!

play TEEPEE

This teepee is a fun toy that kids would love for many years!

CUSTOM ITEMS

I bought a custom name puzzle for my baby on Etsy. I hope this is a toy he’ll have for years, and will help him learn to spell his name one day!

CUSTOM BOOK

You can turn your child into the main character of these cute books!

I hope this gave you some gift ideas for your child’s first Christmas!
